Beihai Shipbuilding builds a 5500TEU container ship for Dafei Shipping, with the fourth ship undocking
On March 16th, China Shipbuilding Group Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. received good news that the 5500TEU container ship No. 4, built for France's DaFei Shipping, successfully exited the dock and entered the stage of port equipment debugging and interior decoration completion with the joint efforts of various departments of the company.
Beihai Shipbuilding attaches great importance to each other, performs their respective duties, cooperates meticulously, and coordinates resources such as production, technology, and materials. They actively summarize the experience of the previous ship, optimize production processes, move forward to the maximum extent possible, and control production cycles. At the same time, the 5500TEU container ship No. 5 and No. 6 have successfully floated.
The key process cycle of the ship's undocking coincided unexpectedly with the Spring Festival. The various departments of Beihai Shipbuilding worked together, reasonably allocated production resources, and organized the year-end sprint and post year resumption of work and production in an orderly manner. From design to process, from management to frontline, from logistics to production, every link and position provided strong support for the smooth undocking.
In order to achieve the docking node, the project team closely monitored the project progress, overcame difficulties such as tight time and frequent cross operations, actively communicated with the shipowner's ship inspection, and completed the pouring work of the servo before docking, laying a foundation for the later debugging of the servo; The airtightness inspection of all engine room containers, oil and water tanks has been completed, and the integrity of the installation and airtightness test of the engine room piping system has been continuously improved. The construction period of complex processes such as ballast tank coating has been significantly shortened compared to the previous ship; At the same time, the installation of cabin cables and equipment wiring were completed, effectively promoting the implementation of various plans, and ultimately achieving high-quality completion of the docking node.
The vessel to be docked this time is the fourth ship of a 5500TEU container ship, with a total length of 255 meters, a width of 40 meters, and a depth of 22 meters. It adopts the new generation WinGD2.0 main engine and is the latest generation of green, environmentally friendly, efficient, and energy-saving large container ships. It can carry 5598 standard containers and is classified by the French Bureau of Shipping (BV).
