On January 4th, the 7000TEU container ship "EA CETUS" (H1577), jointly built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Corporation, and China Shipbuilding Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. for the Singapore shipowner Sea Consortium, was successfully signed and delivered. This is the first ship jointly delivered by both parties in the New Year and the eleventh container ship jointly built by both parties. The delivery of the ship marks the long-term maintenance of friendship between both parties, and also indicates that the cooperative relationship between the two sides will continue to develop and deepen in the new year. The new shipbuilding manager of the shipowner company, the trade representative of China Shipbuilding Corporation, and relevant representatives from the company's marketing department sign on the delivery documents. Li Zhizhong, the Production Director of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, and relevant unit and department heads jointly witnessed the signing ceremony.
The EA CETUS has a total length of 272 meters, a width of 42.8 meters, and a depth of 24.6 meters. It is equipped with an open desulfurization tower and meets Tier III emission requirements. It is a green container ship with high technical economy and environmental friendliness.
