Cadeler Starts Construction of Its Third Self-Elevating Wind Turbine Installation Vessel in Qidong, China
On September 8th, Qidong Cosco Shipping Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. held the commencement ceremony for the construction of their NG20000X type self-elevating wind turbine installation vessel N1130. The shipowner company, DNV GL, Qidong Cosco Shipping Offshore & Engineering leadership, and project team members attended the ceremony.
The N1130 wind turbine installation vessel project, which started construction this time, is the third high-end wind turbine installation vessel series jointly built by Denmark's Cadeler A/S and Qidong Cosco Shipping Offshore & Engineering.
